Nice to meet you
My name is Talia Moses, and I work in textile design and art.
Over the years I have developed a unique style that combines a wide range of disciplines including knitting and textile art, beading, embroidery, carpentry, ironwork, painting and digital media. In my work I focus heavily on themes of connection to the present moment, personal and sensory interactions, beauty and self-expression, while incorporating small details that connect to a meaningful whole.
As an artistic worldview, I believe in the power of art to change consciousness and hold a mirror up to society. I strive to create works that provoke thought and awareness, and challenge viewers to reexamine their environment and their role within it.
I create art because it allows me to explore the depths of my soul, to express my feelings and thoughts in a way that cannot be conveyed in words.
My art is my language and it is an integral part of me, it gives me meaning.
Through art, I strive to create connections on a deep level, to arouse curiosity, emotion, and a shared sense of humanity.
When I studied textile design, I was drawn into a fascinating world of materials, techniques, and endless creativity.
My studies gave me a deep understanding of the fascinating process in which a single fiber becomes yarn, yarn becomes fabric, and fabric becomes a finished product with meaning and function.
I find inspiration in nature, its shapes, patterns, and colors. My works are an expression of a deep connection to nature and a desire for harmony and well-being.
